Bowling Style :-
Bumrah has become known for his unconventional movements and hyperextended elbows. His swing is short, his first part consists of small, jerky steps. He has an unusually stiff action but produces high pace and his unusual release point makes it difficult for batsmen to read his bowling. The Indian team often uses him in the death overs. He often plays off the field with stumps, yorkers and short balls.
According to former international bowler Shoaib Akhtar, Bumrah's bowling can lead to back injuries, his bowling is forward biased and bowlers who perform this type of action generate speed from the shoulders and back, increasing the risk of injury.
I find Jasprit Bumrah very, very interesting. He makes a very short swing. He runs and then plays a very short run. His shoulders are straight. His bowling isn't textbook, but it works. He is very different from other fast bowlers, which reminds me of another fast bowler of my time who was very different from everyone else: Jeff Thomson.
Legendary Australian fast bowler Dennis Lillee, December 2018 Bumrah has earned a reputation for his uncanny ability to hit the block, just like his former Mumbai Indians teammate, Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga. Bumrah has emerged as an asset to the Indian team in the limited-overs format. Bumrah is considered one of the fastest Indian bowlers with an average speed of 142 km/h. His fastest speed is 153 km/h, which he bowled off Mitchell in India's first Test match of the 2018 Tour of Australia at the Adelaide Oval. Stark and Pat Cummins. “My favorite bowlers of all time are Mitchell Johnson, Wasim Akram and Brett Lee. I watched their videos and learned from them. I learned a lot from Johnson and Malinga. I try to learn from older bowlers who have played international cricket. – Bumrah.
